Vinny Roth has been teaching in the Virginia area since 1985 privately and in several Virginia schools. Mr.Roth attended both Northern Virginia community college and George Mason University where he received a fine arts degree in music. He has also studied several online jazz courses through the Berklee school of music online.

Vinny’s philosophy on teaching is to help students become well-rounded musicians while making sure they have fun and stay inspired. He has taken students from novice beginners and turned them into gigging professionals. He is also versed in many styles having studied with several tri-state area musicians such as Bill Kirchen, Dan Leonard, and Rick Whitehead to name a few.

Vinny authored a guitar method book Titled “Premier Pentatonic’s for Blues and Rock Guitar” and has several of his lessons featured in Guitar Player Magazine. Mr.Roth was also the local and tri-state winner of the 2004 Guitar Center GuitarMaggedon solo contest. Vinny is currently available for lessons. He offers a fun learning environment, affordable lesson rates. Lessons are online or in person at your home or his home studio in Centerville Virginia. There are no contracts to sign and you can pay-as-you-go.
